My art is inspired by nature and everyday magic. I am originally from the forests of Oregon, now living and working out of the desert of Arizona. I'm a practitioner of Zen meditation and am interested in creating works that reflect the interconnectedness of all living things. I'm also interested in exploring topics of mental health and neurodivergence, as the direct experience of these topics amongst my family and loved ones has colored my perception of the world. It's important to me that my illustrations represent all different genders, orientations, and types of families. It was my favorite picture books as a child that made me want to be an artist, so I hope to continue that tradition in the works that I create.
