Michele Katz (Grieder), otherwise known as "Mit," started "making books" by stapling pieces of paper together drawing on them for her little brother at the age of 7. By the time she was in middle school, she had decided on Syracuse University for her BFA in illustration. (Fortunately the school approved of her choice!) Since then, Michele has been making whimsical art designed to make people of all ages smile. An avid animal lover, they are often featured in her illustrations. She has illustrated 9 children's books, and 3 coloring book geared to all ages. Michele resides in Connecticut with her husband, pet turtle and hamsters. She is very active on social media, and invites you to visit her Creations By Mit page on Facebook and Instagram!
