Michael Hale the current Illustrator Coordinator for the Arizona Region of SCBWI. He has many years of creative experience as a designer, writer and Illustrator. He has illustrated over a dozen books. Four of those books he wrote as well. The first book that he wrote and illustrated, “Bad Monkey Business” was self published by Simian Books in 2017. It won a Spark Honor from SCBWI in 2018. Since then, he has devoted much of his time and energy to helping other authors to the achieve their goals in independent publishing.
