Lucia likes to create whimsical characters and dynamic compositions and she works with traditional techniques, mixing watercolour, pencil and collage.Although her imaginative illustrations are always recognisable, she likes to changes her style and techniques for each book, to create a different mood to different stories.Lucia is an award winning children's book illustrator born and bred in Livorno, Italy. She moved to Australia in 2007 and she now lives and works on the beautiful Gold Coast. She has illustrated more than thirty books, among which Come Down, Cat!, Family Forest and the Our Australian Girl series.
