Rubio and Julienne

The rich interplay of sweet and salty flavors, similar to the one your taste buds might have enjoyed today at breakfast, is not a dance shared by Rubio Fromage  and Julienne Cheri. Rubio's family eats only salty food. Julienne's family eats only sweet. Such lack of contrast in their fare is made even less palpable by the fact that their little shops are situated in plain, drool-inducing sight of the other on opposite sides of Charcuterie Street. One morning, while making deliveries, a chance encounter awakens their taste buds, but their parents quickly end the budding food romance. Fortunately for these star-crossed foodies, a happy and rather delicious ending awaits both their palates and parents.
