Children's stories! It's a long-term love affair. "Writing for Children" was my favorite class at my first writers conference. I spent every free minute drafting my first story and then spent a year perfecting it before sending it to a publisher. Since then, I've had books, articles, drama, devotionals, and poetry published for children and adults. I've been involved in many writers conferences and have earned an MA in Creative Writing, but I'm always aware of how much more there is to know and eager to learn and grow. My other loves? Music, nature, friends, and my handsome husband, wonderful children, and marvelous grandchildren.
