Southern Breeze serves more than 465 writers and illustrators living in Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi. By joining the international Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, our members receive not only the incredible benefits and resources of the larger organization, but also the extraordinary efforts of our own local region. Among the services provided to our members are a directory of member web sites, a speakers bureau resource for educators and conference organizers, a bi-annual newsletter, contest announcements, and writing resources.
