I'm an Artist and theatrical Costume Designer who works at the University of San Diego. For twenty years, I've been teaching young artists how to visually
communicate story and emotion using the fundamentals of theatrical
design, and beyond that specifically with a needle and thread. I've
come to develop a deep appreciation for the unique combination of
textual and visual communication manifested in a live performance, but
I'd like to shift that understanding to a more personal expression that
can only be achieved singularly within the imagination of a reader.I have a MFA in Theatre (Emphasis--Costume Design) from Minnesota State University--Mankato. I've been a costume technician at major regional theatres including the Old Globe and La Jolla Playhouse where I've worked on several Broadway bound productions.
